Sensitive Health Data Safety

We recognize that weight metrics, mood state inputs, and progress photographs are deeply personal. Jackie's Fresh Choices treats each of these categories as sensitive health data and applies elevated safeguards to every point in the pipeline where it is captured, transmitted, stored, or displayed.

Weight entries and calculated BMI values are encrypted in transit over TLS and remain scoped to your authenticated account on our managed backend infrastructure. Mood ratings and free text reflections are stored on a row level with policies that restrict read and write access to the row owner and, where explicitly opted in, the founder inspiration feed.

Progress photographs uploaded to the Journey Journal are stored inside a private storage bucket with signed URL access only. Photographs are never used for advertising, model training, or shared with third parties. You may request permanent removal of any uploaded image at any time.

Compliance Framework

Our processing practices align with the transparency and minimization principles reflected in the California Consumer Privacy Act, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act security rule technical safeguards, applied as commercially reasonable to a consumer wellness product.

We collect only the data required to deliver the tracking, planning, and coaching features you request. Explicit consent is requested at account creation before any sensitive health data is stored. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to the support address below, after which we will delete associated records within thirty days.
